TanabeTakeshitaSyuzo
Tabe Takeshita Syuzo took over the business from Takeshita Honten due to the lack of a successor and newly opened in June 2022. The brewery welcomed up-and-coming Touji Hamasaki and started production in November. The concept is "fruity and outstandingly fresh sake," and the image is a sparkling clear sake from the San-in region's summer sea.
The first release of Okuizumo Maewataya's "test brew" in January 2023 was truly a test brew, as the land, water, and climate were new to the new Toji.Based on last year's experience, the process was further brushed up and re-released as the "Rihachi" brand. With the up-and-coming Touji Hamasaki, the Tabe family now once again took on the challenge of brewing sake.
